This year we have two premium experiences at the newly established Wine & Gin Garden:
– Cocktail High Tea by Underground Spirits: gin cocktails in teapots, high tea treats by L’epi Bakery, and immersive styling under our canvas tent.
– Wine Tasting by Contentious Character: a seated tasting flight with stories from one of Canberra’s most characterful wineries.

 No—entry to Floriade is completely FREE. Booking is only needed for the experiences inside the Wine & Gin Garden. Or if you are visiting NightFest Floriade’s Dark Side from 2 – 5 October, tickets go on sale 8th August.

Yes! The garden and bar are open to everyone. Bookings are only required for the High Tea or Wine Tasting.

Cocktail High Tea bookings include sweet and savoury treats. For Wine Tastings, paired food elements are optional, highly recommended!  Or pre-ordering a Picnic Hamper shall keep you nibbling whilst you sit and sip. Small snacks are also available at the bar.

Yes, you're welcome to bring food purchased from any Floriade vendor into the garden to enjoy with your drink.

Yes—for Picnic Hampers and Tea Treats, we recommend booking early. Quantities are limited and made fresh daily.

Each session runs for around 90 minutes. Please arrive 5 or 10 minutes early.

Yes. You can book a Discovery Table for up to 8 people. For larger groups, get in touch—we’re ready and happy to help organise something special at The Garden.

Absolutely. Whether you're rewarding your team or entertaining clients, we can tailor an experience for your group. Contact us for options.

Bookings are non-refundable. With 72 hours’ notice, we’ll do our best to reschedule or transfer your booking.

You’re welcome to join in at any time during your session, but we can’t extend the booking past the end time.

The Wine & Gin Garden is fully covered by our stretch tent. Our experiences run in rain or shine—just bring a light jacket for Canberra’s spring weather.

We do our best. Please let us know your needs at the time of booking. All catering is made offsite, so late changes may not be possible.

Yes. The space is wheelchair accessible and located within Floriade’s accessible grounds. Let us know in advance if we can assist in any way.

Absolutely. We want all guests to feel welcome. When booking, please let us know if there’s anything we can do to support your comfort such as seating preferences, sensory sensitivity awareness, or arrival assistance. Speak to our team onsite at any time, we want to make everyone feel welcome.

Our experiences are designed for adults. Children are welcome at Floriade, and welcome in The Wine & Gin garden. We do not have a specific children’s menu, but soft drinks are available.

Yes. We have mocktails on the menu, just pick the one you would like to sip on among the flowers!

Your booking confirmation (digital is fine), and a sense of curiosity. A jacket is a good idea for spring days in Canberra. Oh - and your camera to take plenty of photos!
